B Commerce @ UNSW, from there I will pick B Science, or if I get at least 94.5, then B Commerce (International), if I get < 93, then its likely going to be B Science (Computer Science)/B Science (Maths major)

Hey shadowdude, I'm thinking about doing same course at unsw next year as you. Can you tell me how useful adv. maths is when combining with commerce, most likely majoring in actuary. I was pretty set on doing com/science(adv.maths) but I'm not really sure anymore. 2 more years is a lot

Actuarial is a Commerce major. You can do an additional major in pure maths, applied maths or statistics in the Advanced Maths degree - so if you want that, take the double degree. If you want to do Actuarial by itself, then that's fine.

I agree. I went to all open days this year, except UWS and I personally felt that UNSW stood out. Everything about it was just great. Everyone complains about transport and how far it is, but 15 mins further away from central isn't going to harm.

I use the morning bus to catch up with friends. It's the smart thing to do.
