I do have a job. It all goes to paying rent, food, textbooks and bills. :( (well most of it anyway)

No government funding for me (although I do qualify in a month!).

I've never understood the left's position on VSU/CSU.

They constantly complain about the size of HECS debts and student poverty, yet it's apparently okay to increase that debt through compulsory fees.

I would have expected them to argue that the government should directly fund these services.

3 Units per semester is the minimum load for full time study
dats better

right so what if trimesters

2 units per study period, 6 per year? same as 3 per semester?

As far as I know in the eyes of Centerlink or whatever if you do 3 units per semester for two semesters you'll still be considered a full time student even if you skip the third (in trimester situation). If you go below that at any point then you're automatically considered a part time student iirc.

courses at UNSW are done in higher amounts

so I do courses in my latter stages of my degree at 3 units of credit which are basically half a course and 6 units of credit which are a full course

So say I did full time study this year

and went to 3 units a semester next year BUT I dropped down before census date so I receive no financial or academic penalty wot then
