since I suck at english, I have to end up memorizing my creative and practice adapting the creative into the stimulus

I'm jelly of others who can write a creative from scratch and get legendary marks :(

Write it on the spot. Get ~13/15. Win at life.
I've written from scratch three times and the same HSC creative marker has given me 13/15 and 14/15 for my stories and 13/15 for my speech. And I did them all in like 20 minutes from scratch. :)

yeah I believe so, except that you might not get as good as you want at times :/ like if your story was about bullying and the stimulus had a bear or something, then maybe it wouldn't be that good.

nooooooo... what ??

most of the times they give you a picture or a statement (most of the times, both) and at least one of them is very generic

Belonging's been around since '09, yeah?
They have given an opening sentence ('09) and an inspirational sentence (10). How is that a picture and a sentence?

Also, yeah, I've been a good writer since forever. Got full marks on my NAPLAN writing section in year 9. Although I fucked up my SC writing piece and I think that's why I scored so low for English. :(

Lol why do you need to memorise it? If you've done it enough times in class and throughout the year it should be "Stuck" in your head.

I pretty much know every part of my story. And if it needs to be adapted on the day, so be it.

Because people like me leave them to the last minute aha. I like mine though its a bit of belonging and not belonging, so easily adaptable.

I'll probably get like 6/15 for it, but hey shit happens...life goes on.

Made mine up on the spot for Trials and told my teacher after and he called me a "Stupid Bastard" hahaha (quality bloke though).

Told him today I was probably going to make it up on the spot again and he was like "No, come see me tomorrow and we'll sort it out".

Don't think he likes my thinking. I can't write a story to save my life though

heh I don't do enough of it during class, although I do check with my tutor to see what I have to edit.
