I want to keep time by using the stopwatch feature?? allowed or not alloweD?

So long as the supervisors don't think you are accessing constants, formulas or notes in the watch memory.

Can't you use the wall clock for the same purpose?

I dont think it's allowed? take one and ask the supervisor before you get in.

ye it is but i don't think they allow stopwatches/anything that could POTENTIALLY make a beeping sound even if you've got it on silent or whatever. kinda like phones.

You're allowed to take in a watch/stopwatch permitted you leave it on the desk and do not touch it + it must not have communicative capabilities, nor calculative capabilities (even in maths).

Hold up hold up, so I was planning on using a stopwatch in the exam and hit the lap button everytime i finish an essay

is that allowed?

My teacher said, no wrist watches and any wrist watches must be placed on the table

I meant, any wrist watches taken in should be placed on the table and none on the wrist itself.

why not just monitor time on your wrist watch without having to use a timer?
because it takes more time...some people, like myself, write paragraphs in english until a certain time is reached, that way, all the texts are discussed in the desired ratio.
