Flash memory using non-moving chips, e.g. solid state drives and USB memory sticks. It uses direct access.Damn, I thought magnetic disk was like tape :/ ...its hard drives, right?
What is flash memory? I thought that was like a usb so I chose A.
Then why isnt A correct?Flash memory using non-moving chips, e.g. solid state drives and USB memory sticks. It uses direct access.
The diagram depicts a circular disc shaped storage medium. Therefore the only logical choice would either be a HDD or Optical disc - A flash drive does not look like that, they are just pure silicon chips, and magnetic tape is sequential access. But since Optical discs can be accessed in any order (direct access), D is wrong. Thus it is a HDD which accesses data directly, C is correct. Then why isnt A correct?
it can access the data in any sequence, right?
