Favourite desktop environment? (1 Viewer)

This is for the Linux users. I'm being forced to use my netbook and realising how shit Unity is on a small screen and how processor intensive it is I decided I'd try all my old favourites. So naturally I used Gnome for a bit, then remembered about xfce. One I had used for a while a few years back and I think it's great for a netbook, it's not hardware intensive, is ultra customisable. And is still reasonably sleek. Performance has improved drastically.

So this made me wonder, what is everyone else's favourite desktop environment?

LXDE is even lighter than Xfce

gnome is actually pretty lightweight

it's just ubuntu is pretty bloated

give elementaryos a try

it's a stripped down version of ubuntu
