As long as you train them properly, it's ok. Can't help shit genetics sometimes. (not you, people in general)

hit two pbs last week :)

120kg deadlift and 140kg squat

yeahh buddy!
That's pretty impressive! How long training for? I think I know which heavy-squatting asian you are. I've just hit my pb last week - 105 kg squat and 140 kg deadlift.

oh shit lol u srs? there are a few heavy asian squatters at my gym.

Ye i've been training for 6 months and a bit now. Squat max is now at 160kgs and about 130kg deadlift (need to put more work on the latter)

Yeah, it used to be somewhat intimidating - people half my size squatting crazy weight. Deadlifts I find more natural to improve on than squats. How many times a week do you do the major lifts?

My old routine allowed me to squat once a week, deadlift 1-2x, bench 2x (bb and db). The bench 2x was probably a bad idea though, since i did heavy both days. Should've done one light - one heavy.

Fair enough dude - sounds good. Not into isolation then? That squat is insane for the amount per week you do it.

thx brah. strong legs were due to lots of swimming when i was young, so the squats came naturally.. although ive vomited on a few days due to exhaustion. lol ofc i do isolation work. Im not bothered with isolation on legs though, just compounds
