oh lordy, yes these guys are crazy good

You might already know of Agalloch. They may be black metal, but they play the occasional purely acoustic/folk song.

These guys primarily play shoegaze/post-rock, but still make entirely acoustic songs like this one.

And get some Death in June into you. They're pretty much the forefathers of neo-folk and they're based in Sydney.
