So i've been thinking, would it be a good idea to start doing individual HSC questions from topics we've covered already? Like for example in Physics our school just finished space, so should I look through past HSC papers and just do the space questions? or should I just not touch the papers so that when we finish the whole course I can do full papers?

any opinions would be appreciated, thanks! :)

Its a good idea to get a feel for HSC style questions early on in the year - I wish I had of done so in some of my subjects. Obviously, towards trials/final exam time, you should be doing full papers.

Past Papers are a good idea for physics. Do you have the Success ONE book? Definietly do individual topic areas as you go, it'll keep the knowledge / techniques fresh so that you don't have to cram a heap of new stuff right before exams. Keep a record of which questions you've done / had trouble with too so that you know where to focus on come exam time.
Hope that helps :)

For the success ONE book is that the one with all the HSC past papers? Does it have suggested answers or just marking guidelines?

Suggested answers - it really is worthwhile.

im sure you can get books with past papers where the questions are sorted by topic i.e. they will have all the hsc questions for space in one section, motors and generators in another etc.

Try the Creelman book for Physics. It has the topics sorted.
