HAHA you're too funny, I did pretty bad in Chem as well, just scraped a band 6 and i felt really sad considering it's the subject I spent the most time slaving away on

Was coming second. Got 95 ext. mark. Person coming first got 93. Fuck. Ended up with a 93 internal and a 94 exam mark. fml /wrists lol

Haha I wanted atleast 91, but only ended up with 80. I got so pissed off, but my parents were so happy that I passed the HSC. (They always underestimated my academic ability). I wish I had asian parents, atleast they acknowledge that all their kids are intelligent.

I came second... i know there was ten marks between me and vinh and then another ten marks between me and whoever was third, i think it was brandon.

i ended up with 75 which totally sucks, mrs kaur was expected a band six from me lol, as if that was ever going to happen.

btw do i know you asparagus? and how did you go?

Yeah, actually one of my friends missed out on all rounders because of chem. He did 11 units and 9 were band 6's. He got 89 for chem because he apparently screwed up in the hsc exam :/
I would be crushed if that happened to me

As an aside:


As far as I'm aware every sikh male is a "Singh" and female a "Kaur" (meaning 'princess' ?). Singh and Kaur are not surnames. I'm bemused whenever I see in the papers references to a "Mr Singh" or a "Miss Kaur".

Besides you can't have a "Mrs Kaur" unless you allow same-sex marriage.

It's not that hard to get a band 5 in chem.
80% of my class got a band 5.
