-Very little knowledge of chemistry as i am just going into year 11. Chemistry content was not covered thoroughly in years 7-10 of my schooling years.
-Patience is a virtue. Slow learner, but as i start to get the hang of a method i usually fly through concepts.

Aha, tbh don't worry about tutoring for year 11 prelim chemistry.. IMO it could just be a waste of money.
I payed literally no attention in year 11 and managed to do okay in year 12.
There's only a few concepts that transfer into the HSC course and those could all be quite easily covered in a 2hr lesson or so.

No, srsly, i am so hopeless without a tutor. My head is so slow at grasping concepts so i'm usually so behind in class, but as i said before when i known something, i literally kill the exam and get like 99%. (But to some asians, that's a fail, ha).

Haha that's fair enough ,

but yeah just remember that at the end of the day year 11 results don't count - i slacked off then turned it up for year 12 and got an atar much higher than I expected.. so just keep that in mind.

In terms of tuition, I would love to tutor you, but i'm admittedly quite dodgy for year 11 content but very confident in the HSC course. All the best in finding one though

A student is trying to work out the formula of an unknown acid he was given. So far he knows that the formula takes the form H_nXO₃, where n is an unknown positive integer and X is an unknown non-metallic element which can either be Phosphorous (P), Sulfur (S), Carbon (C) or Nitrogen (N). To determine which of the four elements X actually is for the unknown acid, the student performs a series of titrations.

The student decides to prepare a secondary standard solution of NaOH by titrating it with a primary standard solution of 0.1064 mol/L of HCl.

The result was that 25.00mL of NaOH required 25.00mL of HCl with concentration 0.1064 mol/L for an end-point with the indicator colour change.

The student then dissolved 2.569 grams of H_nXO₃ in water to make a 250.0mL solution. He performed a titration with the unknown acid H_nXO₃ and the standard NaOH solution.

The result was that 25.00mL of the standard NaOH required 16.31mL of H_nXO₃ solution for an end-point with the indicator colour change.
