Enrolling confusion (1 Viewer)

Hey everyone, I'm trying to enrol into courses and looking at the UNSW Handbook for Optometry, I typed in all the codes for the courses in stage 1 but the search could only find 4 of the courses for my to enrol in.

Is there something I don't know? I'm so confused...

You can only enrol for 4 courses at a time, because you enrol for the next semester - not for the next 5 years of your degree.

You only enrol for your first session/semester for this year. Some courses are offered only in first session/semester or second session/semester

e.g. MATH1131 = Mathematics 1A is offered in first session/semester AND second session/semester (for if you failed, or want to do maths as an elective), whereas MATH1231 = Mathematics 1B is offered in second session/semester and you need to complete MATH1131 before you do MATH1231.

Those are the courses you do throughout this year. You have two sessions/semesters (like school terms) this year, and you usually do 4 at a time, that is why you only see 4 courses offered.

If you note, there are 8 courses there. You do 4 in Semester 1, and 4 in Semester 2. You enrol in 4 of those for the upcoming semester and in July or so, you enrol in the remaining 4.

It means you didn't meet a requirement.

But that doesn't make sense, so I'd suggest trying again later.

Did you get an offer for Comm/Eco? If so, you're already in it - and you just pick the courses you need from it.
