Well, my English teacher went from the Kings School to my school and now he's Head of English at some other school in the city.

He goes bungee jumping and surfing and whatnot on weekends (or maybe that was just a holiday)... he's doing pretty well for himself. Nice car too.

But even if you get awesome holidays, you get low end salary which isn't worth the effort you have to put in with marking papers for students, grading etc unless you are passionate.
