I doubt that will happen, alas... I really want to join a society. I just hope they don't have events on Monday. I have Monday off and I live pretty far from the Uni. :/

But you never know! The person could be like a superbrain/supermodel. They could woo you off your feet, hypothetically speaking. Or they could have a lot of background knowledge in area. E.g. parent is a Pole Dancing Instructor or something.

None the less, I look forward to debating and most human rights societies. Finally I won't feel like an outcast in an educational environment due to my interests! *happy dance*

I want to join the Music Society too! I'll check it out on orientation week.

They hijacked about 1/3 of the lectures in ACTL1001 last year with all their political campaigning.

But MATHSOC will only hijack your first maths lecture of the year and then that's it.
