Seriously you may want to study 24/7. But the truth is no one can do it consistently. You will burn out easily...

I think I did 4 hrs everyday from the second half of year 10 :L Burnt out completely- and that was year 10.
I'm thinking 3hrs is steady atm.
30% on maths; 25% english; 20% chem; 25% physics.
whoops, no room for modern or bio.
Might follow on that, screw economics for me.

There is no such thing as burning out. Study your heart out and you'll get the marks you want. 3 hours doesn't sound nearly as much. I'm in year 10 and for my reports week i studied 6 hours on weekdays, and 10 on weekends. It sounds like a lot, but once you get the hang of studying you loose yourself and forget you're even doing it. Unfortunately, because i bludged through the whole year, that amount of studying was only able to get me a 90. Sigh.

You'll regret that in Year 12.

^ that. im gona try devote myself equally to all my subjects. i had the previous mindset where i thought that physics and chemistry were definitely going to be part in my final hsc mark definitely and so i thought to ignore the other subjects like legal studies and biology which i do not enjoy as much. what if i was to somehow screw up in chem/physics what else would i depend on? point is, try in all your subs so that at the end of year 12 you can confirm your hsc subjects.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

You're in Year 10. You haven't experienced yet.

First day of Year 11 you'd probably study 6 hrs. Next day, probably six hours. 2 weeks. 3 hs, 3 weeks later, 2 hrs...1 month later - 1 hr... 4 months later - cbb.

yeh, girlworldclub, you got no idea to say that now. just think of other situations in your life and a lot of them will relate to the idea of burning out.

Kebab, it is a lot for year 10 but i have very pushy parents.
Meanwhile, believe me, in that i was with my sister 24/7 when she was studying for HSC (we shared the same room). She studied alot, and i mean 4.5 hours a day (begging of semester), and then around 6-12 going into HSC exams. She had a passion and she got where she wanted.

he is clearly very different from the average student who will most likely experience it some time in their senior years.

Ah Jason. Because he probably still balanced himself with exercise and healthy eating. He studied consistently I would assume and that's why he got the marks.

i was home at 6 most days so heres what I did

study till 7 30

dinner at 8 (or watch tv wat ever)

830-9 study

you can to to 930 or 10 depends how much you wanna do, I find I become most productive after 8

between 6 and 9 I got over an hour study done, had a show ate dinner and had some tv/facebook time
