High scores on tests like the HSC and the SAT's aren't directly correlated to a persons IQ. It's a contributing factor but obviously many other factors affect those scores.

SAT/HSC/GCSE scores are correlated with IQ. they are not, themselves, IQ tests, so there can be no 'direct correlation'. but they have predictive power. IQ is also correlated with success, and these are some very successful men

Back on topic Romney destroyed Florida, Paul last with 7%, he didn't campaign there but that's still a fair bit of a morale blow.

Edit: Just in case you guys think I was defending the guy who said that all the candidates are dumb except Paul that's not what I was doing, they're obviously all smart guys and tbh I'd probably take a wager that Romney is smarter than Paul but that doesn't mean he's better than Paul as a candidate.
