I got my timetable. 14 free periods including 2 triples. Oh wait... they forgot to put maths in... down to 6.
Got Brave New World to read for English...soo good in my opinion. Anyone else have it (or had it before)??

11 free periods :eek: OMG so lucky!! At my school people are jealous coz I am one of the few that gets free (ahem 'study') periods and I have 8 a fortnight....wonder if anyone on here will manage to beat 11....

So far, it's just 2U and 3U Algebra for me :/
@Realisenothing: Isn't it way too early to start Circle Geometry? Circle Geometry is usually introduced in like Term 3 of Year 11?
The 3U(/2U) Schedule should be like:
Basic Algebra (inequalities) then Functions then Trigonometry then the next 3 topics could be like Circle Geometry, Calculus or Series?
I know that different schools have different programs but I think all schools SHOULD start with Basic 2U/3U Algebra and then do all the other topics in any order.

Haha we kinda just skipped that chapter =P I had double maths today, wasn't too bad.

Can someone help me with this:

Form a pair of simultaneous equations and solve them to find x and y, given that they are rational.

I've completely forgotten simultaneous eqns.

x-3+sqrt(y+2)=-1+sqrt(5)
=>x-3=-1 and y+2=5
Hence, x=2, y=3
