Objectives, Needs and Boundaries and help with my [SDD's major project] (1 Viewer)

Hi there!

I received a new major project from my school creating a software which will be used to encrypt and decrypt messages stored in a simple text files using a private key stored in a separate file. The software should also be able to allows the users to enter simple messages that either displays the encrypted or decrypted message. (Use ASCII code)

I have a few questions want to ask you guys:

1/What are the differences between these three terms: objectives, needs, and boundaries
2/ Any ideas to store a code file (ASCII Code) because if I sit here to type >200 ASCII character codes, I'm not that crazy ... but I'm stupid about how T_T
3/ I'm looking for SDD's revision books and information book (including explanations, questions and answers) apart from the Heinemann's books

The 2012 SDD HSC is based on a new syllabus so make sure that what you learn is in the current syllabus.

The only textbook I know that is for the current syllabus is the PEDC one. The first 4 chapters of the SDD HSC are free.

Just out of curiosity, what language are you going to use for your major project?

I haven't seen it in a shop before so maybe you should give PEDC a ring and find out.

You can buy the book online once it is out. I called two weeks ago and bought the IPT book. SDD wasn't ask. It's $8.80 postage.

They claimed a week and a bit, but I was shocked that it arrived in about 4 days. But depends on your location.
