Way too high considering his friends and some of his very low scaling subjects (excluding maths and physics ofc).

You: Probably scrape 90ish
Friend: 85-90 - but no way above 90

I had slightly higher rankings then these guys and did similar scaling subjects (however I did advanced) and I got in the mid 90's (my school rank was around 300). So I based my estimate off that.

you: 95 (lower ranks but better comb. of subs)
friend: 95 ish (high ranks - dependent on performance in externals)

this is assuming that your high ranks in standard english is representative of how you will go in the actual HSC, e.g. relatively high band 5's in st eng.

However, Stnd Eng may pull your ATAR down.. However, aim to achieve a high band 5 or 6, so it does not affect your overall ATAR! xD
