Hahaha, what? We went through sigma notation today in Biostatistics and was just wondering when we'd get to learning new concepts.

Are you in the 11am stream? I swear I might've drifted off in biostats but we certainly didn't learn sigma notation :/

Quite a fan of Kurt Iveson. The content in his lectures is really interesting (and different) with his teaching style really complementing that.

I like the way Parkinson teaches.

Same as Cirstea.

However, she does the following which drives me crazy:

1. Pronounces 'lower' so it rhymes with 'flower'

2. Spells 'irrational' as 'irational'

3. Spells 'contradiction' as 'controdiction'.

Maybe OCD.

Michael Harris is also a good lecturer as his explanations are always clear and he has time for students. I'm considering having him supervise my thesis next year.

I'm in the 11am stream, and I can say that we did. The lecturer called it 'summation notation', but the sigma sign was definitely there.

yeah, lame jokes from abdul aside, accounting is significantly better than buss1001. I had BUSS1001 today and it was the most boring shite ever. I was so bored that I got out my netbook and tried to browse 9gag. Couldn't though because of epic lag. The only thing that mildly interested me in that 1.5 hour lecture was the lady from CPA.

We are same streams. Yeh me too, I wouldnt come either haha, especially cause accounting finishes so late...I just wanna sleep already!
My BUSS1001 tutor is like stoned. I mean he's a chill guy, but srsly wasn't there anyone else? hahaha. Here's to hoping that BUSS1040 will be better on Friday...

Today I had an 8am and a 9am lecture then done for the day.

Woke up @ 6:30am, saw how heavy it was raining, thought 'nope.', then went back to bed.

Woke up just then, still raining.

Later on I'm gonna check outside. Apparently a couple places like Holsworthy and Homebush are flooded.

This is bad because I kinda live at the bottom of a hill...

Checking it out now.

Trains on East Hill line are fucked - flooding at Bardwell Park.
Trains on Illawarra are fucked - flooding at Banksia.
Trains to and from Olympic Park are similar fucked.
