advice on struggling computer engineering student (1 Viewer)

hey guys, its been around 6 weeks into computer engineering, and so far its has been seriously tough. specifically comp1917, and since i have ZERO programming experience (have never even heard of C prior). i am now considering transferring to electrical eng, since programming seems minimal there and its at a slower pace. what do u guys reckon? and when can i actually transfer?

You can't transfer until the end of the year, and must have a WAM of over 65.

computer engineering and electrical engineering are as similar as two engineering disciplines can get and elec is also heavy on programming I would say

Judging from the handbook pages, you are correct, there are much fewer COMP courses. How much programming you need to do in ELEC courses I don't know.

No, an IPT requires 36UOC to be completed, after one semester the OP will only have completed 24.
