anyone know how this works, Do i study at my uni, with the army or something ??

You can get sponsored to study at your own uni, or either go to adfa in canberra to study

what do you mean? as in i need a undergraduate place to study mbbs, then i apply for army spons, then go to canbera to train ?

So yes, you need be an undergraduate for the sponsorship, or be a graduate in order to apply. Yes, you actually need to be studying medicine at a civilian university.

So what's so confusing or what don't you understand? That link is more than enough to help you understand what is required. If you are an undergraduate and you want to be sponsored, you attend a civilian university and apply for that scholarship. Once you complete your studies, you attend RMC-D and then further specialist training.
