I got my half-yearly report back last week and was wondering if someone could give me an atar estimate please?

SUBJECTS & RANKS:

English (Advanced): 28/84
General Mathematics: 1/56
Textiles: =2/10
Geography: 8/25
Chemistry: 5/32
SOR1: 8/97

I was ranked 1st in Geography in Year 11, but got complacement :| I know I can bring that rank up though with 50% of internal assessment still to be completed. I need to work on english too


School Rank 2010: ~115
School Rank 2011: ~125

My schools bands 6's in each subject in 2011:
English (Advanced)- 10
General Mathematics- 9
Textiles- 2
Geography- 4
Chemistry- 0
SOR1- 21

My schools bands 6's in each subject in 2010:
English (Advanced)- 17
General Mathematics- 8
Textiles- 4
Geography- 3
Chemistry- 1
SOR1- 30

My schools bands 6's in each subject in 2009:
English (Advanced)- 23
General Mathematics- 3
Textiles- 2
Geography- 7
Chemistry- 1
SOR1- 23

Also, i'm obviously going to work hard to do my best in everything... but where would you suggest I focus my attention to improve my rank?

Yesss it definitely needs the most work! With my current rank, do you think I could get a band 5?

Check how many Band 6's your school had last year and if your rank is less than it your probably going to get a band 6.
