Do you mean "scaled" as in UAC scaling for the ATAR calculation? Or do you mean "aligning" as in BOS aligning for the HSC marks?just wondering how the subjects are scaled (or whatever it's called)?
im doing adv. eng, mathematics, ext 1 math, economics, modern history, ext history and SOR1. - how these subjects scaled?
The last three subjects won't be doing your ATAR any favours. At all.just wondering how the subjects are scaled (or whatever it's called)?

Modern history and History Extension scale quite well, iirc modern history in the 90's scales almost as well as physics and chemistry (Not 100% sure on this - maybe someone can confirm/disprove?). Even if your aim is 99.5+, both subjects wont do you much damage. However, SOR I is an average scaler. The last three subjects won't be doing your ATAR any favours. At all.
Ext history's scaling surpasses physics though? ^.-The last three subjects won't be doing your ATAR any favours. At all.
According to Table A3 of 2011, His Ext scaled better on average than all the sciences, economics and 2U maths. The last three subjects won't be doing your ATAR any favours. At all.
It does on average, but it doesn't in the upper escelonsExt history's scaling surpasses physics though? ^.-
I retract my statement if that was indeed the case.According to Table A3 of 2011, His Ext scaled better on average than all the sciences, economics and 2U maths.
