Would it look strange if I dropped maths but did two sciences ? (chem & bio)...
Want to do medicine or dietetics :)

It would "look" a bit unconventional, but there's nothing wrong with it.

Good luck!

as long as you know how to do calculations in chem (especially) then it is fine to drop maths if you truly hate it and not good at it. However, if you're planning to do med/dietetics you can't escape doing maths in 1st year just so you know (but i guess you can get away with doing a bridging course XD)

Its fine but remember that you will never escape Maths (but why would you want to anyway? :p)

It is fine for high school. If you want to do any science courses at university then most of them do require at least Year 12 mathematics or higher.

Also note that the HSC Science Syllabus (syllabi? syllabuses? =p) were designed such that even a student not doing Mathematics can still take them.

Related Q: is calculus necessary for first year maths (in a science degree)?

Which is slightly unfortunate because Physics and Economics would be a helluva lot more fun if Calculus was involved

some of my friends are doing really well in bio/chem/physics (like top 15) and aren't doing any sort of maths, so you should be fine
