Preliminary reports suggesting that Newcastle United has agree a fee with Melbourne Heart teenager Curtis Good.

Would be nice to see him link up with Bradden Inman.

Fernando Torres:

FA Cup: 2011–12
UEFA Champions League: 2011–12
UEFA European Championship 2012
UEFA Euro Golden Boot: 2012

Funny how he wins more trophies in a "bad" season than messi and ronaldo combined in the same season.

Re: The Official Football Thread

Sydney FC are close to signing Krunoslav Lovrek. 32 year old Croatian. Played in the ACL for jeonbuk motors recently. Two footed, can play up front or on the wing. Got a good shot and still got some pace for someone his age (or a lot more than Bruno Cazarine did)

Cazarine got 17 goals in 2 seasons. Wasnt that bad but slow as fuck.

Have a good feeling about Lovrek

Re: The Official A-League Thread.

the western sydney wanderers home supporters end will officially be called the red and black bloc (RBB). Was supposed to be the western front, but there are three subdivision supporter groups and one particular group took that name.

Re: The Official A-League Thread.

Newcastle United said:
Newcastle United have today completed the signing of Australian youngster Curtis Good.

The 19-year-old defender has signed a six-year deal with the Magpies following a successful trial.

Good, a highly-rated centre-back, will join up with his team-mates when they return from their tour to Portugal this week.

The former Melbourne Hearts player has represented his country at under-19 level and has also been tipped for full international honours.

The Club wish to thank Melbourne Heart for its professionalism and cooperation throughout the transfer.
