for maths is it better to do questions repetitively, or analyse particular questions which you struggle in, and then realise the concept, instead of doing rigorous pastpapers?
"..then realise the concept" not sure :/
But, doing past papers often helps you pick up a few things your missing.

Preparation for trials are not good! have assessment tasks due on the 2nd week (but my trials are in week 5, so I don't mind)
Usually cram anyway, even though I tried developing a consistent study pattern - didnt work

Physicals nearly finished Space - I am so fucked.
glad to know I'm not the only one stuffed up for physics

"Engraining" concepts (esp for Biology and Chemistry) into my head, doing practice papers, revising 2 dotpoints for each per day!
English Advanced and Extension: Just doing as MANY practice papers as possible!!
Ancient History: Memorising every single word in my notes (SO MUCH Content!! Crucial to understand concepts and memorise evidence before attempting to practice exam q's)
Thank god Extension 2 English Major work has been submitted:)

Aiming for 9-10 hrs study per day, with breaks ofcourse!! Anymore would be madness!!

i've got all my notes done... and done some HSC questions. physics bio and pd have so much content to remember, maths is simple i'll just do some past papers and english i don't even want to think about. practice essays maybe?
I shouldn't have read this thread and seen people doing like 12 hours lol since i was out with friends for 7 hours today and now i feel guilty xD

When are everyone's trials? Are they as soon as you get back to school or a couple weeks after. Mine begin in week three, so I've essentially been finishing off all my notes until now and fixing up all my english essays, as well as doing some (if very little) maths. Next week I'm going to start learning all my notes and english essays, whilst spending half the time doing maths, and in the two weeks before trials (that we're at school for) I'm going to do past papers and stuff.

I don't know how people have the motivation to get up at 8am and work. I start working at 1pm and usually finish at 2am (only working about 5-6 hours productively during this time).
WEEK 3! Sooooo lucky mines on week 2 and I have all of my subjects on that week besides all my maths...

Thinking i may fail hard at my trials.
Though then again i said that my last exams and i went okay. Okay is not good enough though so i'm really trying to study well leading up to the trials. Time to stop procrastinating and wasting the holidays away.
Oh and my trials begin week 4 ;)

My trials begin on week one on a thursday :(. I've done 2 2u papers, some biology questions and 2 AOS papers. I've got all my notes done and I've been reading through them. I'm planning to get through a lot of English on the weekend since I need to choose which quotes to memorise. Goodness I'm behind on schedule :(.

My trials begin in week 3,

So far in the holidays I have just been getting through notes (writing and studying them), Set holiday homework and Maths Past Papers for anywhere from 2-4 hours a day steadily.

Should I be getting into past papers (Everything except Maths - already started) 2 weeks before the trials once I have my content down pat?

Good Plan?

So hoping to get notes done for all this weekend and early next week and learn it then start doing past papers!

I have trials week 3 and i am streeeeesssssing out! I didn't do nearly enough work in the school term (I got super lazy and became the queen of procrastination) so I need to complete all that work as well as my summaries and revise...anyone else struggling to fit in just straight revision because of all the summarising and homework we have to do?:mad2:
My plan is to finish my summaries and the bare minimum of work I need to do by the end of the second week and then go past paper crazy the first 2 weeks back. Good luck everyone!

Looking really forward to Maths Extension 2 trials! The teacher said that he wrote a 'super duper hard question' and I'm really curious to see what it is.
