I don't have the answer...

For advanced I'm finding quotes/techniques and listing the effects and linking to any related texts etc.

Same thing for this? I feel a bit lost.

Depends on what module you're doing.

I did Textual Dynamics, so my analysis of texts was along the lines of "How does the author play with the traditional mode of storytelling".

We're doing genre: crime fiction.

So I guess it should be along the lines of "How has context influenced/changed the genre and how is this reflected in the text?" or something like that.
