Galvanic cell under standard conditions
Nickle Anode (Ni(NO3)2) - pale green
Platinum Cathode (Chlorine gas) - (KCl) - colourless
Salt bridge : KNO3

d)Explain any colour changes observed in this cell as the reaction proceeds.

THis means that the as the green Ni goes into solution, the green will get darker at the anode


I hope that's right...
(I'm not sure how many marks it is, so you might need to put a bit more depending on the marking scheme)

That's it, nothing else to say.

Edit: actually i guess you could say that after a while some Ni2+ could migrate into the other half cell via the salt bridge making the other cell light green

I would say the green electrolyte solution becomes darker as solid nickel moves into solution to become nickel ions.

It's just better to be more specific than "at the anode".
