Wish you guys all the best with your outcomes. I personally, believe I have reached a personal best in the AMC and I am definitely satisfied at my competency today, though time will tell.

You don't need perms and combs for that- I haven't done perms and combs yet either. You just look at each one in turn and try to go intuitively. For example, his first prediction is an X and there are 4 X's left out of 8 cards so he has a 4/8 chance of getting that right. Then his next guess is a Y. There are 4 Y's left and 7 letters so he has a 4/7 chance of getting that right. Then you do this for them all and multiply.

Haha, doesn't he go to my school? I am sure he would've done fine for AMC, though it seems like 100 is pushing it. Unless of course he's a mathematical prodigy which I am told by you, he isn't.

Also today I realised I did get question 23 right, yay! Now that's 23, 25, 26, and 29, definately right. Hoping my solution to 21/22 were right also, would be awesome.

A HD is still very good. By the sounds of it, I reckon you would have managed the top 5%.
