Not enough freebies. Good advice was given however.

overall, I'd say it's quite average. Good thing was that there was a free BBQ nearby the globe lawn (Pokemon Society was there, and I was hosting the event)
you the asian guy with the spikey hair and blue UNSW hoodie jumper?

Interesting day today. I couldn't roam around and do my own thing because I was contractually obligated to do certain things.

But all in all, interesting day.

Anyone come to the Extension 2 Tips and Tricks lecture?

It was sooo windy! But it was a really great day, all the students were really nice.

It really confused me though- is free fairyfloss really worth an half hour wait in the freezing wind??
I pushed into the front ;)

that always happens when you're in that lecture room, so annoying.

Yes! You definitely were. The time constraints made if difficult for you guys - I understand.

I was at the front...the only one to know the coverup method for partial fractions (as if no one else knew??)

Thanks, asianese! I try :p

oh yes, time constraints

the other execs were giving me hand signals to hurry up

So if you went to the 1st lecture, I went too slowly on the first (easy) example - not giving enough time for dots and lines

And if you went to the 2nd lecture, I somehow also went overtime... probably because of the dots and lines method

Also if anyone asked why I didn't really encourage audience participation - it's because I had too much material to cover and I figured the... me asking questions and then answering them would be quicker.

Let's just have a one hour lecture with Shadowdude being the lecturer, giving his MX2 tips (Y)

I saw that handout, it was actually quite good. xD

That is one of the first things they teach you in first year math (or used to be anyway).

Obviously. I mean... I wrote half of it myself :p

Yes, but that's why the lecture was called "HSC Extension 2 Maths Tips"

it's supposed to be uni maths taught to hsc kids so they can use superior uni methods in their hsc
