5Here are all my overall ranks at the end of the year.

School rank: 73

General Maths: 1/62
Chemistry: 2/20
Biology: 5/50
Physics: 7/13
SOR1: 18/105
Advanced English: 26/39

Thankyou!
I need an ATAR of 63 or so, but hoping for 70.
Bit concerned about getting it.

Yeah, those ranks are quite good for such a high ranked school, you are well above 70.

I'd say 93.65

Hahaha, will do I guess. Thankyou everyone. Anymore estimates appreciated but I've got an idea now.

Cheers!

LOl whut?

I think you'll get in the 80s. Probably high 80s. If you worked really hard I reckon you could push into the early 90's!!!

I'd say high 80s? or even low 90s? so 88-92?
What's the highest ATARs at your school usually? (e.g. last couple of years)?

Advanced English. Sorry.

Highest ATAR last year was 99.45 I believe, and the second highest 99.15.

Oops, my bad. I meant 91.65.

Your Biology and Chemistry ranks are really good which is pushing your mark up. Realistically I don't see you getting below 90.

I believe that most of the estimates here on the low side are on account of your English rank. I'm pretty sure that your school has a pretty high standard of English. You go to Mackillop Senior College right?

Yeah, our school marks extremely hard for English. I came up from rank 34/40 after the second assessment. And that still seems too high ahah. Maybe it's just because I've told myself I'm going to go bad.

Well there were 11 people in your school who got a Band 6 in Advanced English last year, so assuming your cohorts are of similar size and quality I'd guess you'd be around a high Band 4 or low Band 5 at the moment, which isn't too bad. Obviously the sciences seem to be your niche and fortunately for you, they scale quite well.

Your other subjects are either Band 5s or 6s, so I stand by 91.65.

Thankyou Palosem! Yeah, HSC English has consistently been a struggle for me.
