personally I prefer the library because i study more productively and its a good atmosphere for me but at home my desk is in the open and noises of the tv and fighting siblings and other distractions (fb, ps3, computer, etc) just stop me from studying.

wbu? post away :)

Home. Then I can go get food whenever I want, go on the net, go outside and kick a ball etc.

Home. Buying food is hella expensive!
Plus, when I go to the library, there's always at least 2 people that bump into you and start having a chat.

I like library because there's a bigger range of resources and its pretty peaceful most the times. only annoying thing is that i can't eat in the library

In the library, it may be too noisy or crowded

Library by far. Having to share a room with 2 younger sisters is a nightmare.

Libraries are filled with annoying screaming kids (at least in Strathfield anyway) and I don't want to have to walk home alone in the dark.

Library (uni libraries though, not local libraries). I feel that I'm more productive there; I don't waste as much time as I would at home because there is less forms of entertainment offered. Also, I have that mentality that if I travel to study, I must do work.

This is why I love Liverpool library.

But yes, food + library = potentially perfect studying conditions imo

Libraries generally allow you to eat, provided it isn't messy or strong-smelling food. So a sandwich would be perfectly okay whereas a curry might be a no-no.

And far too many people (unfortunately) don't recognise how amazing cafe's can be as a studying location.
