Formal attire for men- what combination to go with ? (1 Viewer)

So My formal is on November and I have already bought the blazer and pants. I am thinking whether to wear a tie or a bow tie. If tie, then a vest and a shirt would be needed. My question is, for bow tie, would a vest needed or just the shirt ?

If yous have had your formal, what was the majority ? Bow ties or ties ?
