Actually, I just realised that you are in fact correct. A=1, and B=0, meaning that the remainder is Ax+B = x, not 1.

Many apologies for this, I will decide what to do with the Question once I've marked them.

That's because you subbed it in, and then differentiated.

You are supposed to differentate, and THEN sub it in. I had a friend make the same mistake.

Umm, things that jump out at me- Yeah I got the remainder as x as well so that's good

The last question demolished me- got a bit of the binomial and then nothing for projectile lol. I couldn't get the first parabola question (Show that p^2+pt+2=0) or the last part of the simple harmonic in Q13 or the last part of the other motion question in Q13.

All up- very sexy paper. Will be interested to see the marks and stuff- I got raped lol

Did anybody use the trig identity:

sin^2x + cos^2x = 1

To do the Simple Harmonic Question? Or did you all actually try to differentiate it twice etc etc.
