The social media today is pretty furious with the men on Qanda last night interrupting Kate Ellis. Most folk here will know I tend to bandy the term sexist about without much restraint but I was surprised by some of the commentary. I thought Piers Akerman was repugnant as he always is but I thought Tanner and Pyne behaved more or less as you'd expect a) a shadow minister and b) a grumpy, critical, former Labor minister to behave. I think it's beggars belief that if it had been Simon Crean or Bill Shorten reciting party lines with such predictable monotony that they wouldn't have also gotten interrupted as well.
