I just want to know how hard it will be to get a 90 atar with these subjects and im not in a really good school-

Mathematics Advanced
Mathematics Extension
Engineering Studies
Industrial Technology-Graphics
Physics
IPT
English advanced (most likely dropping to standard)

Well for 90+ it doesn't do much but I think he should keep doing Advanced.

I'm doing Standard and ranking 1st... so do I still stand a chance of getting like 80?

Oh if you're coming first, it shouldn't be too much of a problem then. Yes you have a pretty good chance at 80 - I was more worried that you'd be in the middle part of the standard cohort, hence they'd drag you down but 1st is great.
