I think i'm screwed...

I took like 55mins to do Mod B and then around 50 to do C leaving me with 15 mins... i was stressing out because I couldn't find my question and I kept flicking through section I so i just ended up doing the first question for like 10 mins :S

Am I going to get any marks even though I answered a different q but still wrote about my text? (frank/br) :(

Best way is just to forget about the English exam until you get your results :) Doesn't matter now, can't change what you did.

But as long as the question was similar and you did a few good paragraphs, you should get okay marks for it.

but i heard from the paper1 forums that they only take into account your 2 best sections and put them /60 for here? (because paper1 is /40)
does that mean im safe
& i can't be the ONLY person to answer the wrong question....

Dude that is fake - they take ALL sections into account. No you are not safe, unfortunately.

omg, no they don't. they take every section into consideration! every section is 20 marks, 3 sections x 20 make up the rest of the 60%. So if you didn't finish it then bad luck.

are you sure? he said every section is 20 marks but they would convert it to /30 each... seems plausible
also it's not more of that i didn't finish, but that i answered the wrong question

Paper 1 = Out of 45 --> Gets Converted Into A Mark of 40
Paper 2 = Out of 60 --> Nothing Happens.

Raw Mark = Paper 1 (Out of 40) + Paper 2 (Out of 60) = Raw Mark (Out of 100)

FOR EXAMPLE:
Paper 1 = 36/45 --> 32/40
Paper 2 = 50/60 --> 50/60

Raw Mark = (32 + 50)/(40 + 60) = 82/100

Yes... you'll still get marks. You'll get marks for writing even just 1 paragraph that has an idea, technique and quote in it LOL
And I just looked at the question.. question 1a is exactly the same as fr/br except the name of the text is different. So if you replaced the name with fr/br then you addressed the right question.
Don't stress... if the 2 body paragraphs was 'good' i'm pretty sure you can get over 10. Tbh, I know some people who don't even write conclusions and get 16+

You can just relax now that there's no more english :)

yes i'm 100% sure. the guy is probably just trying to ruin you. i mean if they converted it to 30 what's the point of giving us a third question? why not just test on two modules instead of 3 and besides on the front page it tells you specifically that you have to attempt one question from each section. I can't put into words how frustrated I get when people say all these stuff whether they're trolling or not because it's stupid.
