i) The xylem and phloem are part of the transport system within the plant. Xylem transports water and ions up from the roots and only goes in 1 direction - up from the roots to usually the leaves. Phloem transport organic materials and products of photosynthesis up and down the plant.

ii) Kidneys - Know about the 3 sections and what they're responsible for: -Cortex (filtration), -Medulla (Reabsorption), -Pelvis (Collection)
- The nephron parts e.g. Loop of Henle, distal tubules, glomerulus, Bowman's capsule.
- What happens within them e.g. Tubular reabsorption, ultra filtration.
- The structure through dissection

And yes, it is safe that you know ALL experiments.
can someone tell me what ALL the experiments are? just list em

Thank you so much!!

I'm also a bit stuck on rhesus factor inheritance. I've read a few different explanations, but I'm not sure which is right!

In addition to the A and B antigens on the surface of the red blood cells, there is also another substance called Rhesus factor
The Rhesus factor is either present or absent on the cell – Every person either has a Rhesus protein (Rh positive/ Rh+) or does not (Rh negative/ Rh-)
The Rh+ allele is dominant over the Rh- allele

hope that helped :p

ur supposed to observe and identify the different parts of the kidney, both external and internal, and also relate the function of the kidney with its structure.
