85 would probably be 84, but 90 should be exactly 90.

I don't think subjects can be aligned down, i hope not anyway. I'm guessing the cut off will be around 83-84, we're only factoring into account the percentage of the state that did well, most of the people on Bored of Studies do well, but there are alot of people who did bad aswell...
I'm pretty sure subjects can be aligned down.

Typically an 81 can get you a band 6, however I reckon itll be up a little higher. dont be disheartened by the people on here, they're all very good students

last year 81 went to a 91, so what is everyone on about scaling down wiht that mark.

Where are you getting this info from? I'm not disagreeing with you, I'd just really like to see a table or something showing what different marks in different subjects align to in previous years.

Raw marks table v2.0 (you can get it here if you search around the forums)

Unfortunately those are the only 2 stats you can get.
