Band 6 cut off-Geography (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, what do we all think will be the band 6 cut off this year- being an easy test and all? I personally think about 85... Thoughts?

Really that high??? How can a cut off be greater than 90- or is that the aligned mark- in which case you would need say 84???

Its the same when a subject scales down. A 92 in geo is like a 90 is physics. So you do need 92 to just make the cut off.

No subject ever (according the the raw marks database 2.0) has ever had a raw mark above mid eighties for a B6, somewhat doubt this year it would be 92

That really doesn't make any sense- please explain?!?!? If 92 is a band 6 ...then if you got 91 as a raw mark- its a band five??? Wtf? How can it align to less?

Hang on, hypothetically... If you got a raw of 91 in the exam and internal mark of say 88, then you wouldn't get a band 6 under what you are saying??

If you look at the raw marks data base, it has always aligned up... In 2011 you needed 84 for a band 6 and so on.

the stupidity in this thread is amazing. To the op, the geo exam was pretty similar in difficulty to previous years and so band 6 cutoff will be low to mid 80's, i'd guess 83/84
