Basically my school is flooding me with assesments for every subject in the space of about two weeks, this seems a little ridiculous. Anyone else's school like this?

Same for us. Week 6 and 7 - they are being called 'death week' by the teachers.

Welcome to HSC assessments :p
When you have your assessment all bunched up together just use your time wisely and you will be fine

My school's doing it over 4 weeks (6-10), with a max of 2 assessments a week :) It's the faculty that chooses the day of the assessment, so maybe they just had similar tastes in time? Or they could just be evil... who knows.

Is there a reason why schools do this? :)
Because every faculty seems to think they are the most important. (at least from my experience, especially english)

Lol @ some of you guys who are complaining about a 2 week assessment period.

My assessments are from 28th Nov - 4th Dec (1 week). I have MX2, MX1, 2U, Eng Adv, Chem, Eco, Legal. Eco and MX2 on same day. So yep, cuntsfucked.

Our school has a policy that we cannot have more than 3 assessments in one week. At the beginning of the year, each faculty is assigned a week during the term they are allowed to give assessments out. They have to follow this, or an easy complaint to a Deputy Principal results in it being moved.

My school has it all in one week....

Week 9. So across 2 weeks is definitely not ridiculous.

I have ''class tasks'' (which don't count towards the HSC Internal Mark but counts towards a report mark but who cares about that) on Week 7.

Yep pretty much how it works in Year 12, you get the assignments all about the same time (or the notice for tests) and they will all be in close proximity of each other. Trials will be hectic, I had two double days in my trials because they are in a very compressed time period.

Likewise but in week 10, I have no assesments for any subject and then all in week 10. Not fun.

2 assessments week 8, 3 assessments week 9 and MX2 on Wednesday of week 10. On the Monday before my MX2 exam, the Physics and MX2 people are going to luna park :D My assessments are set out pretty well I reckon. Not too close together, and not very far apart either.

Well considering everyone elses mine looks pretty good now..

Week 6: Biology Practical
Week 7: Religion
Week 8: English and PDHPE
Week 9: Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology Assessment task 2

So yeah, i thought it was pretty hectic, but turns out not really..
