Hey guys,

I am considering on studying B Engineering and B Science at UNSW. My questions are:

1. Are the facilities good at UNSW for these courses?
2. Roughly, how much days would I be attending per week because of this combined degree?

Much appreciated,

Kevin.

1. Yes, especially the labs and technology. The tutorial rooms are mediocre, and the lecture theatres are good.
2. Single or combined is irrelevant; your timetable is dependent on the subjects you choose, and each subject has their own amount of contact hours. You will probably have 4-5 days per week.

Im not quite sure about Engineering, but probably Mechanical. For Science, I want to do Mathematics and Statistics. By the way, for this double degree, can I do 2 majors in Science?

Mathematics and Stats can be done as a double major (Y)

You will have enough UOC + 6 UOC to spare once you have done the double major. Most of the 1st and 2nd year maths and stats courses overlap :)
