I've been living with my boyfriend for the past 4 months so we have sex almost every day but he doesn't want to before an exam or other important event like a footy game. He says it makes him do worse but he hasn't explained to me why. I don't really mind if it's just for one night but I'm just confused :/

I sometimes wank before exams so I won't think about sex as much during them (as much, but I still do ofc. I'm male).
