when i watched/read candy and watched trainspotting i was like 'yeah i want to try it'

BUT JUST ONCE

Yeah I kept thinking "yeah, I'm totally strong-willed enough to try it just once, walk away and be totally fine. I could do that." Then I was like, wait, I'm pretty sure that's what all the actual addicts thought too.

Reading through The Fall by Albert Camus after reading some of his other fiction. It is (so far) the kind of deep conversational writing that I really enjoy.
