Could somebody please help me with 2d?
The answers for 2a) - c) are as follows
I just need someone to help with 2d



2a) -2/3

b) -4/3

c) 16/9

2d) says alpha cubed plus beta cubed, sorry for the bad shot.

Okay so in

a=3 b= 2 and c=-4

so for a), it's the sum of roots which is -b/a

sub it in and you get -2/3

are you sure you put brackets or something in the calculator? because you get the -80/27 from the first working out that rolpsy posted.
