Yes, it is taken seriously and you will get zero if you are caught.Hey guys
I ask this question to myself pretty often, whether or not plagiarism is taken very seriously in relation to short answer questions in the hsc?
Let me know what you guys think.
thanks
It's still plagiarism - to avoid it, just site the source (According to the Oxford Dictionary, destroy means...).plagiarising is taken very seriously, possibly a 0 awarded.

What?! So you're saying you can't recite a definition word for word from a hsc textbook?[/QUOTE]It's still plagiarism - to avoid it, just site the source (According to the Oxford Dictionary, destroy means...).
It is still plagiarism. You're taking someone work word for word and passing it off as your own without acknowledging the source.I don't think its plagiarism... I mean it is a definition.
However if it is a subjective question, and you write what others have answered... then yeah.
