Hi, I was wondering if someone could provide me with an ATAR estimate.
My school is ranked 80

My rankings and scaled marks are as follows:

• English Advanced - 7/9 (77%)
• Mathematics - 1/20 (98%)
• Mathematics Extension 1 - 4/9 (80%)
• Chemistry - 3/15 (93%)
• Physics - 4/14 (85%)
• Business Studies - 1/8 (84%)

I would really appreciate estimates. I would really like to gain entry into Chemical Engineering at UNSW. This course requires an ATAR of 92.

9 people in your whole school do ext1

Anyway it's hard to tell because you've got such few people in each subject but you're probably doing more than enough for 92.

80% as a raw mark for ext1 is something you should look at improving. For 90+ aims, most people recommend 80+ Raws for ext2.


English is also really important, and 77 definitely needs to be improved. Again, I'm surprised there are only 9 people doing EA..

We are a year of only 30 students.

More atar estimates would be appreciated.

My guess would be 92-96, it's really hard to be more specific, because of the size of your classes.

less than 90 Atar, with those marks bro. you need improvement in English advanced, lol. Look at your ranking, it seriously needs improvement if you are aiming for 90+ Atar.
