Hi,

In 2014, I will complete my HSC with the following subjects:

English Advanced
Italian Continuers
Italian Extension
Legal Studies
General Mathematics
Studies of Religion II

I aim to receive two band 6's in my Italian Units (and hopefully come within the top 5% of the state)... a mark of 86 (ENG ADV) --- a mark of 89 (LEGAL) --- a mark of 95 (GENERAL MATHS- I DON'T KNOW HOW REALISTIC THIS IS AND IS THIS POSSIBLE)--- and a mark of 89 (SOR II)

Do you think i can get an ATAR of 96.5 to 97?

Thanks in advanced...

It's definitely possible with those subjects (even 99.95 is possible). Try fiddling around with an ATAR calculator to see what makes give what ATAR - they are probably far more accurate than any of us.

Thanks guys....

Just a quick question.

Are those ATAR calculators accurate enough to rely on?

my estimate was the same as my ATAR.

and it depends on how competent you are in each subject. You should hope for the best marks, but also have a rough estimate of case scenario.
Best thing is that you have plenty of time to drastically improve in all of them.

good luck.
