I am currently studying actuarial/eco (1st year)and im getting 70+ in fins1613, econ1101 and 60+ actl1101 but just managing to pass in math1151..in my opinion, it has been a disastrous semester for me as I could increase my mark by atleast 10 in every subject. I am quite confident that I'll do well in next semesters. But to what extent will this semester affect my GPA, WAM and career prospects???

THanks

WAM is overall mark so you might not have screwed up yet. If you do stuff up it's not that bad given it's first semester/year as its possible to bounce back.

It won't affect your OVERALL course mark (if your units are counted) that much. It's only first sem, chilllllllll

That being said it depends what career path you plan to undertake... I've heard that if you're applying for an actuarial job, the recruiters tend to require decent marks in actuarial subjects.
